RoHS and WEEE Directives

• DIRECTIVE 2011/65/EU OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL

of 8 June 2011 on the Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic

Equipment (recast of European Commission Directive 2002/95/EC relating to the Restriction

of the use of certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (RoHS Directive)

The substances prohibited in accordance with Directive 2011/65/EU Annex II are not expected

to be present in Dow Corning Products1 at or above the specified concentrations

• DIRECTIVE 2002/96/EC relating to Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment

(WEEE Directive) 0.1% (by weight) for lead, mercury, hexavalent chromium, PBB, PBDE,

(including decaBDE, PentaBDE or OctaBDE) and 0.01% (by weight) for cadmium;

• DIRECTIVE 2002/96/EC relating to Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment (WEEE Directive)

The substances listed in Annex II of Directive 2002/96/EC are not expected to be present in Dow Corning Products1
